In this section we will give a short explanation about the abstracts database en how to use it. We wil take a look at the searchpage en how to acces the results.
Free search
Enter any keyword you want. Click the 'search' button to get the results.
Search by keyword
When you click the 'search by keyword' option you will notice that the 'free search' option is disabled. At the right side of the fields a button 'keywords' will appear. Click one of these buttons to get a pop-up window. From this window you can choose one of the existing keywords. This word will be shown automatically in the field. Now you can click the 'search' button to start the actual search.
Statistics
There are two choices for viewing statistics:
- Conference/Year vs. Standard Categories
- Conference/Year vs. Countries
The first one shows the absolute number and percentage of abstracts in defined categories. You can use to make a selection for a country or show the results for all countries. Clicking on the numbers in the list results in a list of titles. Clicking on the title brings you to the abstract.
The second shows the absolute number and percentage of abstracts from the countries. You can use to make a selection for a category or show the results for all categories. Clicking on the numbers in the list results in a list of titles. Clicking on the title brings you to the abstract.
